Job Description & Summary
A career in Information Technology, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.
Our Cloud Design & Engineering team helps build customisable cloud solutions that enhance PwC’s digital capabilities. The goal of this team is to lead the development of secure technology solutions and platforms for the purpose of delivering digital products to the cloud. The team will use DevOps practices combined with the latest cloud technology while aligning to firm compliance standards.
Knowledge Areas
Network Infrastructure Planning and Design: Develop and implement strategies for designing and
upgrading the enterprise network infrastructure to meet current and future business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define network architecture, standards, and policies.
Network Operations and Maintenance: Manage day-to-day network operations, including monitoring,
troubleshooting, and resolving network issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Implement best practices for network configuration, management, and security.
Capacity Planning and Optimization: Assess network capacity and performance metrics to identify
bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and plan for future growth. Implement solutions to improve
network efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Network Security Management: Implement and maintain robust network security measures to protect
against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats. Develop and enforce security policies,
procedures, and controls to safeguard sensitive information and infrastructure.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with network equipment vendors, service
providers, and other stakeholders to negotiate contracts, evaluate products, and ensure service delivery
meets organizational requirements. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on network-
related projects and initiatives.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians,
providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of
collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the network team.

- A solid understanding of networking and core Internet protocols.
- Deep understanding of Network Fundamentals: OSI & TCP/IP models, DNS, DHCP, TCP/UDP,
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco Switching Technologies.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco Routing Technologies.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Meraki Enterprise Level
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Switches and Routers recoveries and upgrades.
- Good understanding of Cloud technologies like SD-WAN, FWaaS, PaaS, SaaS is preferred.
- Good understanding of VPN, IPSec, Firewalls, Radius Authentication, ISE Authentication.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki Cloud and Cisco Wireless Solution is preferred.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot complex network environments.
- Plan and execute in depth technical activity, influencing the direction of activities/plans and
- Investigate and help resolve issues on customer’s network and IT estates using agreed
- Manage support cases to enable fast resolution that exceeds our customers’ expectations.
- Ensuring accurate recording of all cases using the Company’s ticket management tool and
- Maintaining the records and using the central document repository, to ensure knowledge sharing
- Experience of using ticketing systems and use of monitoring and management tools.
- Supporting and taking ownership of ad-hoc projects.
- Coordination with regional and global technology teams in operational and project-based tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships to understand client requirements.

- Min 5-7 years of proven hands-on experience on Enterprise Network technologies.
- Knowledge and experience of working in Enterprise Data Centers is must.
- Strong technical expertise in networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, routing,
- Experience with network virtualization, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and emerging technologies is
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
technical stakeholders.
- ITIL is preferred.
