Java Developer

K&K Talents GmbH is an international recruiting agency that has been providing technical resources in the European region since 1993. This position is with one of our clients in the Poland who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams.

Role : Java Full Stack Developer

Technology stack: Java 1.8, JEE, Swing, JForms, Java Web Start, Hibernate, JBoss, Tomcat, Oracle, Jasper Reports, BitBucket, Bamboo

Project Duration : 12Months with Extension Possible

B2B Contract

This is an Immediate engagement to start.

Day to Day Tasks:

• work on USHI implementation projects (work on the backend and frontend, temporarily in client facilities in Poland dolnośląskie and kujawsko-pomorskie voivodships);
• implement change requests and platform enhancements based on business needs;
• collaborate on device integration at client locations in Poland;
• troubleshooting production issues related to availability and performance;
• collaborate with client’s infrastructure and network teams to address issues related to their areas of business;
• cooperation with external subcontractors who will implement system elements together with the USHI team;
• conceptual and implementation work on modernization and refactoring of the system;
• business trips to client locations in Poland, frequency depend on implementation needs.

Required technologies/skills:

• experience in older technologies like JEE and JForms;
• experience in Oracle DBs;
• ability to improve the code in small steps and work with monolith application;
• English at a level that allows for free communication in speech and writing;
• independence at work; excellent work organization;
• the ability to approach the problem in a holistic way, looking for effective solutions taking into account time and technological constraint;
• a sense of responsibility for one's own and the team's work;
• experience in communication with hardware devices (control, measurement, security);
• fundamentals of electrical engineering;
• knowledge of Ethernet TCP/IP protocols and their configuration;
• ability to build relationships with clients and customers;
