Senior Java Engineer – Cloud Migration & High-Performance Systems

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to play a key role in migrating a high-performance application to Google Cloud, enhancing scalability and reducing maintenance efforts. You will work on rebuilding the solution with a modern tech stack, ensuring smooth data center migration, and aligning the UI with cooperative design guidelines. This is an opportunity to work on a complex, multi-phase transformation.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend solutions in Java and migrate applications to Google Cloud.
• Rebuild the system with a modern tech stack, integrating In-Memory Data Grids (GridGain/Ignite).
• Ensure a smooth data center migration (DC by DC) with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to align development with business goals.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of the system.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java development, 5+ years.
• Expertise in Google Cloud and cloud-based application migration.
• Hands-on experience with In-Memory Data Grids (IMDG), ideally GridGain/Ignite.
• Proven ability to work on large-scale migration projects with high availability requirements.

• Experience in distributed systems architecture.
• Knowledge of high-performance computing and caching strategies.
