To continue developing innovative, data-driven products, they are expanding their platform team and hiring an experienced Data Engineer to join a cross-functional environment alongside data scientists and backend engineers.

🚀 About the Role

This role focuses on building data products using a modern data stack that includes Snowflake, DBT, and ML components. These data products power applications that help farmers optimize their operations while enabling transparency and sustainability across the dairy and meat value chains.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust data transformations to create scalable data products
• Integrate data from a range of sources into the platform
• Ensure data quality using automated validation processes
• Build and deploy SQL and DBT-based workflows
• Collaborate closely with R&D teams and developers to meet business and product needs
• Manage and document data contracts across services

✅ Ideal Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• 3+ years of experience building data products using cloud data platforms
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with DBT
• Engineering mindset with an understanding of how data systems fit into product pipelines
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus
• Experience with ML Ops is a bonus
