Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Data Engineer with the relevant knowledge to Ensures compliance with UAE and international data privacy laws, develops secure data pipelines, and maintains data integrity during migration. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and leveraging advanced analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with UAE and international data privacy laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain secure data pipelines.
• Implement data encryption, anonymization, and access controls.
• Ensure data integrity and confidentiality during the migration.
• Coordinate with international offices to ensure data security standards.
• Migration Considerations:
• Plan and execute data migration strategies with a focus on data privacy.
• Ensure compliance with UAE data protection laws and international regulations.
• Implement robust data encryption and access controls during data transfer.
• Conduct post-migration data validation and testing to ensure data integrity.
• Regularly review and update data privacy policies and procedures.
• KPIs:
• Zero data breaches during and after migration.
• High compliance rate with UAE and international data privacy regulations.
• High data quality and integrity.
• Efficient data processing and transformation.
  
  

Offshore And International Considerations

• Implement secure data transfer protocols between locations.
• Ensure compliance with local data protection regulations in all locations.
• Regularly audit data security measures in offshore offices.
• Provide training on data privacy requirements to international teams.
• Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
  

Experience

• 3-5 years as Security Engineer with a focus on data privacy and protection
  
  

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, including UAE data protection laws and international standards such as GDPR.
• Experience with data encryption, anonymization, and access controls.
• Proficiency in SQL, AWS, and data processing software.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
• Familiarity with data integrity validation techniques and tools.
