Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Scrum Master & Business System Analyst (BSA) to lead Agile practices while also driving business and system analysis for a Datawarehouse project. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, data warehousing, analytics, and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage stakeholder requirements, and ensure seamless collaboration between business and technical teams.

Scrum Master Responsibilities:
Must Haves
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
- Guide teams in Agile best practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
- Identify and remove impediments to improve team efficiency and delivery.
- Track and report on sprint progress, velocity, and other Agile metrics.
- Work with Product Owners / Business to refine and prioritize the backlog.
Good to haves
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization within teams.

- Ensure smooth collaboration between cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders.
Business System Analyst Responsibilities:
Must Haves
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics projects.
- Translate business needs into clear system specifications for technical teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to help define data models, reporting needs, and integration requirements.
- Document data definitions, data transformation rules, and business rules for development teams.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams, data engineers, and system architects to support the design and implementation of data solutions.
- Validate that implemented data solutions meet business requirements through testing and support UAT.
- Support issue resolution during development, testing, and post-production phases to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Good to Haves
- Ensure that data designs align with business objectives, system feasibility, and industry best practices.
- Assist the teams wherever required for requirements related to Data Governance and Quality Assurance.
- Provide end-user training and support on new data solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Business System Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
- Experience in data projects (Data Warehousing, ETL, Business Intelligence, Data Lakes).
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and reporting tools Power BI, Tableau.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar Agile tools.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM) is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of the ETL Process and Medallion Architecture
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of API integrations and data governance and privacy standards.
- Understanding of machine learning and AI-driven analytics.
