Junior Software Engineer - .NET - JavaScript - Hybrid (Esher) - £28k - £38k

Currently working with a client in the Research industry who is looking for a motivated junior software engineer to join their team!

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the development of our platform and products using .NET 8 C#, and TypeScript
  • Build modern, responsive React applications
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and process data efficiently
  • Gain hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and cloud services
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
  • Learn from and receive mentorship from experienced engineers

Requirements:

  • Some experience with C#/.NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React (through coursework, projects, or internships)
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
  • Basic understanding of version control (Git) and modern development workflows
