Technical Project Manager – Mechanical Background

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a mechanical background to join a fast-growing U.S. technology company. This is a hybrid role that requires a solid understanding of technical deliverables in mechanical or production-related projects, and the ability to coordinate timelines, suppliers, and engineering teams with clarity and ownership.

The ideal candidate is methodical, organized, and proactive, with experience following up production activities related to tooling, fixtures, and mechanical assemblies. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical milestones are met and risks are escalated on time.

⚠️ Please note: this is not a hands-on engineering role, but it requires understanding of mechanical production topics and the ability to follow up on them effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track technical deliverables related to mechanical production (e.g., tooling, fixtures, mechanical assemblies)
  • Follow up with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure timelines are met
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reporting dashboards
  • Identify blockers and escalate risks proactively
  • Communicate with U.S.-based managers and technical stakeholders in fluent English
  • Support coordination around parts, suppliers, and production progress
  • Ensure documentation, drawings, and specifications are delivered on time and accurately

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Technical Coordinator in mechanical or manufacturing environments
  • Educational background in mechanical engineering, electromechanics, industrial engineering, or similar
  • Solid understanding of production workflows involving mechanical components
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) – daily communication with international teams is required
  • Organized, dependable, and focused on execution
  • Comfortable using Gantt charts, PM tools (e.g. Asana, Jira, Trello), and Excel or dashboards
  • Availability to work partially or fully within U.S. business hours
  • Self-starter mindset and ability to manage technical priorities across teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience in telecom, aerospace, automotive, or satellite-related production
  • Familiarity with quality standards or documentation-heavy environments (e.g., QA/QC, ISO)

Important

  • Only applications submitted in English will be reviewed
  • CVs not submitted in English unfortunately will not be considered
