Application Developer

Freelance | Liège, Belgium | Application Developer | 6 months initial contract

Do you have a passion for hands-on software work and enjoy being close to the customer? CDH professionals are currently recruiting an Application Developer for an international project in Liege.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and support custom software applications on customer sites.
• Quickly learn and master our proprietary in-house programme.
• Interface directly with customers to understand their needs and adapt software settings accordingly.
• Perform measurements of engine performance and productivity, analyze data, and support reporting.
• Work closely with engineering and support teams to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Experience as an Application Developer, Field Software Engineer, or similar role.
• Ability to configure and use software tools in real environments.
• Solid understanding of C# or general programming logic.
• Willingness and ability to learn a new in-house programme quickly.
• Experience or interest in engine performance, testing, or productivity measurement.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
• Willing to travel to customer sites, primarily within the region.
