Our founding team has 10+ years of complimentary experience in the domain (Tax Advisory / CPA) coupled with a track record in launching and scaling startups. We are backed by leading investors and strategic angels from the tax and fintech space. Now, as we grow with early customers, we’re building a small, high-performance tech team where autonomy and ownership are at the core of everything we do.

The Opportunity

You have the chance to join us as an early member of our tech team, actively shaping and building our technology base from the ground up.

You'll build a platform that transforms tax technology, enabling tax advisors and fintechs to offer and create their own tax tools—without needing extensive software development expertise [and potentially by utilizing LLMs to digitize tax law ;) ].

Your Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership building critical parts of our emerging technology from the ground up


• Collaborate closely with the CTO to execute the product roadmap


• Delivering new features, and highest quality code at god-speed, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.


• Contribute to our strong, high-performance and collaborative engineering culture as the team grows.

Experience We’re Looking For

Strong technical background with 5+ years of full-time engineering experience, preferably across the following tech stack:

• 😻 Frontend Development: Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand) and modern styling (TailwindCSS, Styled Components).


• 🚀 Backend Development: Solid experience with Nest.js (or Express.js) and designing scalable RESTful or GraphQL APIs. Strong knowledge of authentication (JWT, OAuth2) and event-driven architectures (Kafka, WebSockets).


• 🏦 Database Management: Expertise in PostgreSQL, schema design, query optimization, and ORMs like Prisma.


• 🌥️ Cloud Infrastructure (Nice to Have): Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Functions), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Docker, and Kubernetes.

• 💰 Experience in building products in regulated industries like payroll, fintech, or tax or had projects where you build a tax solution


• 📩 Experience in building embedded/white-label software products
