At Weheat, we’re looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to design and build the systems that power our next-generation heat pumps. Your work will enable real-time diagnostics, efficient control, and intelligent optimization for devices used worldwide.

What You’ll Work On

System Development: Design and maintain robust backend systems to manage the remote diagnostics, monitoring, and control of IoT-enabled heat pumps.
API Design: Build scalable, secure APIs that enable seamless communication between heat pumps, mobile apps, and cloud systems.
Data Collection and Analysis: Develop efficient data pipelines to gather and process performance metrics from thousands of devices.
Database Design: Architect scalable and secure databases to store critical device and user data.
Machine Learning Integration: Collaborate with the data science team to implement machine learning models that optimize energy usage and system performance.
Reliability and Scale: Build fault-tolerant systems capable of supporting thousands of devices with minimal downtime and maximum performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with firmware engineers to design communication protocols and with front-end developers to ensure seamless user experiences.

Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET Core, Python (for ML).
Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure, Docker, Kubernetes.
DevOps: GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, ELK.
Protocols: REST, MQTT for IoT device communication.

Requirements

Experienced in backend systems (1+ years)
Proficiency in C# programming.
Strong background in database design, algorithms, and data structures.
Experience with machine learning applications is beneficial.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
