🔎We are looking for a Machine Learning Officer

MAIN TASKS:

• Develop End-to-End Product Lifecycle:
• Build Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, including data collection, labeling, model training, testing, and evaluation.
• Develop, modify, and support internal applications in collaboration with data scientists and developers.
• Engage with clients throughout all stages of the application lifecycle.
• Design effective solutions aligned with the organization’s framework and technical standards.
• Implement and Support Deployment and Maintenance of Models and Software:
• Apply industry best practices to implement scalable, production-grade solutions.
• Support operational teams in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining developed models and applications.
• Promote a culture of data-driven decision making within the organization.
• Stay up to date with the latest methodologies, technologies, and tools in the field.

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

• Master’s degree (or higher) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or related engineering fields (a PhD in a relevant area is a plus, but not required).
• Strong understanding of machine learning, statistical models, probability theory, and time series analysis.
• Experience with ML/NLP techniques and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Go.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and CI tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
• Ability to interpret and explain model results and key influencing factors.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Hybrid role in Lisbon or Porto
