Now, we’re looking for a Senior Operational Risk Manager to join our European Risk team and safeguard our EU bank’s systems, data, and customers.

What You’ll Do:

As a cornerstone of our Risk function, you’ll lead risk oversight (2LoD) for our EU bank, partnering with Technology, Operations, and Compliance to ensure security and resilience. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting risk/control assessments for cyber-security, system resilience, and data integrity.
• Designing IT control frameworks aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and EU regulations (EBA, ECB, DORA).
• Leading incident analysis, assurance reviews, and third-party vendor risk oversight.
• Delivering executive reports and KRIs to senior management and regulators.
• Fostering a risk-aware culture through training and governance.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–7 years in technology risk management, with 4–5 years in Financial Services, Banking, or Fintech (large/matrixed EU banks preferred).
• Proven 2LoD/3LoD experience in IT risk oversight, control assessments, and assurance.
• Big 4 experience (KPMG, EY, Deloitte, PwC) as a Technology Auditor/Consultant is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of EBA, ECB, DORA, and frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, or SOX.
• Leadership, communication, and analytical skills to thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment.
• Nice-to-have: CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certifications.
