We are looking for a PHP Developer to launch products that help millions of tech founders and deliver billions of dollars to their startups.

On a typical day as a PHP Developer, you will:

• Implement new products and features for our platform, either using our Symfony-led frontend architecture or at times delving into alternative products
• Perform code reviews for your peers
• Participate in spec reviews for new developments, weighing in on the feasibility, cost, and complexity of the features discussed
• Participate in discussions regarding code reusability and maintainability or improving architecture and workflows
  
  
  

Desired profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software development
• Expert in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
• Extensive experience with OOP
• Knowledge of design patterns: factory, strategy, repository, etc.
• Familiar with web security & potential vulnerabilities: Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), MySQL injection, CSRF, etc.
• Comfortable writing complex MySQL queries
• Experience with Symfony, Laravel, or Zend/Laminas PHP Frameworks and Git
• Familiar with PSR coding standards
• Familiar with NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Redis, etc
• Familiar with full-text indexing solutions (ElasticSearch, Sphinx, etc.)
• Familiar with PHPStorm IDE
• Independent and self-motivated
• An interest in solving hard and diverse problems
• Interest in building web applications capable of servicing millions of users
• Ability to write clean, organized, reusable code
• Ability to work with an existing codebase, but willing to incrementally improve things over time
