MEDIA ML ENGINEER

About the role:

Join our Media Lab team at HCLTech, where you'll contribute to real-life, state-of-the-art technology to improve audio and video quality at a big tech company.

We are looking for a talented and driven individual to work with Audio/Video signal processing and Machine Learning. You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement validation frameworks, analyze and improve existing ML models and algorithms, and contribute to the development of innovative products.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate machine learning models for real time media processing.
• Train and optimize ML models.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of audio/video processing systems.
• Benchmark models against existing solutions and identify performance issues.
• Document model evaluations, and experimental results.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of evaluation pipelines and dashboards.
• Contribute to the development of innovative products.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Background in audio and video signal processing and/or machine learning.
• Proficiency in coding with C++ and/or Python.
• Strong technical skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Great problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with dataset creation, augmentation, and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in audio and video processing.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies.
• Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with dataset creation, augmentation, and management.
