Senior Software Engineer Role

You will join the GeoAnalytics & Mobile team which develops state of the art visualizations and geographic features analytics capabilities in Qlik Sense and the native Mobile application. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing innovative solutions for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native.

You will join Qlik as a Senior Software Engineer (Mobile App Developer) where you will be an integral part of our R&D team, focusing on creating high-quality mobile applications.

We are primarily a full-stack team and looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Mobile App Developer) You will work tightly with highly engaged co-workers in your team with a lot of responsibility and influence. We take pride in driving and nurturing an inner source development philosophy, sharing our work and engaging with our developer community directly through tools like GitHub and Slack. • App Development: Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using React Native, ensuring top-notch performance and usability.
• Feature Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that delight our users and meet business goals.
• Quality Assurance: Troubleshoot and debug issues, implementing solutions that improve application performance and user experience.
• UI/UX Implementation: Work closely with designers to ensure consistent and engaging UI/UX designs across platforms.
• Technology Adoption: Continuously discover and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and keep our applications at the forefront of mobile innovation.

We’re looking for a teammate with the following experience:

• At least 5+ years of experience in Mobile Development using React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java/Kotlin, Object C
• Experience in developing native apps in Android and iOS.
• Valuing team-work for results
• Focused on delivering value to our customers
• Effective in a collaborative environment
• An excellent software developer eager to learn new things
• Understanding the need for and importance of continuous delivery and what’s required for that.
• Have knowledge about how to build robust and scalable code
• Prioritize simplicity and testability when writing code

Bonus Skills

• Hands on working experience in Swift, Angular 2, C++, QT
• Understanding of micro frontend
• Understanding of microservice architecture, from a service and a front-end perspective
• Experience with GitHub and Jira.
• Delivering apps to respective app stores.
• Experience in Rest API and API documentation.
