Our client is a pioneering company dedicated to empowering deaf individuals to hear the world around them. Accordingly, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join their team of 30 Developers and help shape the future of hearing technology.

Your Tasks:

• Designing firmware concepts and architectures for embedded systems
• Writing C/C++ code for embedded systems
• Integrating various communication technologies (wireless and wired)
• Creating test routines and managing firmware releases
• Collaborating with hardware development teams
• Developing technical foundations for project proposals
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

Requirements:

• A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Several years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems using C/C++
• In-depth knowledge of embedded frameworks (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ESP-IDF) and Linux build frameworks (Yocto, Buildroot)
• Knowledge of wireless systems (BLE, WiFi, LoRa, NB-IoT, LTE Cat-M1)
• Optional: experience in full-stack or app development, basic hardware knowledge, and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Fluent in English and German
