About the Role:
We're looking for a talented Fullstack Kotlin Developer to join a remote development team working on modern, scalable web applications. This role involves full lifecycle development using Kotlin for both backend and frontend layers. If you're passionate about clean architecture, modern development practices, and collaborative work environments, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain fullstack web applications using Kotlin (JVM and/or Kotlin Multiplatform)
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features
- Design and implement RESTful APIs
- Conduct code reviews and write unit/integration tests
- Monitor and enhance application performance and security
- Stay up-to-date with emerging tools, technologies, and frameworks
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with Kotlin (JVM and/or Kotlin Multiplatform)
- Proficient with Spring Boot or Ktor
- Solid frontend knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Kotlin/JS
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Comfortable using Git for version control
- Understanding of CI/CD practices, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
