ADNOC Global Trading LTD (“AGT”) seeks an ambitious, motivated, MO Reporting and Data Analyst ("AGT") to join its Middel Office team in Abu Dhabi.

Incorporated in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, Abu Dhabi’s international financial centre, AGT commenced commercial operations in December 2020. It is owned by ADNOC (65%), Eni (20%) and OMV (15%). Head quartered in Abu Dhabi, it has ambitious plans for global growth. AGT has already established a subsidiary in Singapore which commenced operations this year, and expects to open in Europe and the US in the near future.
AGT’s business is focused on the physical trading of crude oil, condensate, liquid feedstock and refined oil products, risk management activities (including hedging), shipping and chartering, storage and management of inventories, the trading of oil related derivatives and other ancilliary activities.
JOB PURPOSE:
ADNOC Global Trading’s (AGT) MO Reporting and Data Analyst is responsible for supporting other MO functions and working with Digital teams to deliver and maintain best in class reporting capabilities augmented with AI capabilities.
Job Specific Accountabilities
General
- Responsible to develop and produce regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support wider MO decision-making.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decisions e.g. reducing workload and duplication.
- Support the delivery of the Datalake for all MO use cases and work with the Data Manager to ensure that as far as practical the Datalake is being used as the golden source for all reporting.
Interfaces
- Contribute to the reporting of Trading Result/ Position to Senior management. Work closely with MO functional teams, Finance, Legal & Compliance, to ensure best control practices, operational efficiency and policy/limit compliance.
- Work closely with the digital team to meet agreed user requirements and timescales.
- Identify opportunities for improving data collection and reporting processes
Data Analysis and Report Generation
- Use statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards to present data in a clear and actionable manner.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with different departments within Middle Office to understand their data needs and provide tailored reporting solutions.
- Communicate findings and insights to Data Reporting Manager.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improving data collection and reporting processes.
- Implement new data analysis techniques and tools.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (hons) in Business, Science, Computer Studies, Math's, Engineering or Finance.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in Business Systems Analysis
- Demonstrated experience in building PowerBI Reports and Dashboard
- Coding experience in python, PowerBI and other data analytics tools
- Has experience of using AI tools and models to support data and process analytics including the use of causal data tools.
