Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Resource shall have deep expertise in Juniper CRB (centrally-routed bridging)/ERB (edge-routed bridging), VMware NSX, and Aruba Edge Connect SD-WAN (Software-defined Wide Area Network). The ideal Resource shall have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting data center networks, particularly in migration scenarios involving EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, and security integration. The role requires ownership of the migration process, ensuring seamless network transitions while minimizing downtime.

Technical Skillset Requirements

1.Juniper Networks (CRB & ERB Expertise)

• Deep understanding of Centralized Routing and Bridging (“CRB”) and Edge Routing and Bridging (“ERB”).
• Good knowledge about Juniper Apstra and next generation Juniper SDN.
• EVPN-VXLAN & MPLS Architectures for scalable, multi-tenant DC environments.
• Juniper QFX & MX Series configurations for both underlay and overlay networking.
• Advanced Junos OS knowledge, including routing, firewall filters, and automation.
• BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, L3VPNs for inter-DC connectivity.
• Multicast routing and QoS strategies to optimize performance.
• Zero Touch Provisioning (“ZTP”) & Network Automation (Python, Ansible, PyEZ).

2.VMware NSX (SDN & Security Expertise)

• NSX-T expertise for multi-DC and hybrid cloud environments.
• Overlay networking (VXLAN, Geneve), distributed routing (T0/T1 Gateways).
• Micro-segmentation & Distributed Firewall (“DFW”) for east-west security.
• NSX Edge, Load Balancers, NAT, VPN, and Service Insertion.
• Integration of NSX with physical networks (BGP peering, EVPN extensions).
• Network automation & orchestration within NSX (API-based configurations, Terraform, Ansible).

3.SD-WAN

• Hands-on experience with Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN.
• Integration with underlay MPLS, Internet, and cloud environments.
• BGP and OSPF peering between SD-WAN and DC networks.
• Security integration with Zscaler, Palo Alto, or Fortinet (if applicable).

4.Data Center Migration & Interconnect Expertise

Large-scale DC migration experience:

• Greenfield (new DC build) and Brownfield (live DC transition) strategies.
• Seamless workload migration using vMotion, HCX, or L2 Extensions.
• Inter-DC traffic flow planning and application dependency mapping.
• Rollback strategies & troubleshooting cutover issues in real time.

Hybrid Cloud and Multi-Cloud Networking:

• Extending on-premises DCs to AWS, Azure, via Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, or VPNs.
• Cloud security integration with Zscaler SSE, Prisma Access, or similar solutions.

Additional Technical Skills

Network Automation & Programmability:

• Strong skills in Python, Ansible, Terraform, or Aruba Orchestrator.
• API-based networking for SD-WAN & NSX automation.

Security & Zero Trust Integration (IS A PLUS):

• Firewall policies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point).
• ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) models and segmentation strategies.
• IPSec & SSL VPN configurations.
