Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale digital health transformation programs within Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health. This role involves managing the end-to-end lifecycle of national eHealth initiatives, including planning, coordination, execution, vendor engagement, and delivery oversight.

You will work at the intersection of healthcare and technology, ensuring that critical systems like EMRs, LIS, e-prescription, and pharmacy management platforms are implemented on time, within scope, and in alignment with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of digital health projects in line with MOPH objectives
• Develop detailed work plans (WBS), schedules, and budgets
• Ensure alignment of scope, time, and resources across stakeholders
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, manage logistics, and ensure stakeholder coordination
• Track risks, issues, and performance metrics (KPIs) throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to resolve delivery issues and meet SLAs
• Supervise documentation, change management, and training plans
• Prepare high-quality project dashboards, reports, and presentations
• Support adoption and compliance with project management standards and tools (Jira, MS Project, etc.)
• Promote best practices in health IT project delivery and governance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical, paramedical, or related fields
• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years as a project manager
• Proven experience in managing EMR, LIS, e-prescription, pharmacy and radiology systems
• Strong understanding of national health systems including supply chain, disease management, and health information platforms
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and health system integration principles is a plus
• Knowledge of vendor coordination, regulatory standards, and performance monitoring
• Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management framework (preferred)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in GCC or public sector healthcare projects is an advantage
