Right now, we’re looking for a CTO to join our Executive and Technology Strategy Team to drive the strategic development and execution of our tech initiatives, ensure infrastructure scalability, and guide in-house and outsourced teams toward sustainable innovation in the adtech and affiliate marketing space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead SBC Performance’s technology vision and roadmap aligned with business and marketing goals.
- Assess current systems and architecture to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for modernization.
- Provide strategic oversight and advisory for platform scalability, security, and data privacy (especially in compliance-sensitive markets).
- Evaluate and guide the selection and integration of third-party tools, martech platforms, and AI-driven optimization systems.
- Support build vs. buy decisions and help scale internal capabilities through best-practice engineering processes.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align technical direction with business strategy.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the founders on technological innovation, risks, and emerging opportunities.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably within high-growth B2B SaaS, AdTech/MarTech, AI startups or performance marketing environments.
- Strong background in cloud-native architecture, data pipelines, AI/ML integration, and martech infrastructure.
- Experience with big data, ad tracking technologies, or campaign optimization tools is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work with globally distributed engineering teams and manage external tech vendors or partners.
- Hands-on understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering best practices in high-performance environments.
