We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) to join our team.

This role is crucial for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems that meet high-performance standards. If you are passionate about developing robust APIs and microservices using Go, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Go
  • Lead a team of backend engineers by coordinating the requirements implementation approach and delegating tasks across the team
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams to design cloud-native solutions
  • Implement and manage database integrations using SQL and NoSQL
  • Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures
  • Ensure proper authentication, authorization, and security best practices
  • Define and validate the team’s code, ensuring it is clean, maintainable, and well-documented with unit and integration tests
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers, mobile developers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and technical discussions
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues when necessary


Requirements


  • 5+ years of backend development experience
  • 3+ years of experience using Go (Golang)
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Proficiency in database technologies like PostgreSQL and NoSQL
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level


Nice to have


  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
  • Hands-on experience with message queues and event-driven architectures
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools for backend services
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
