Core Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Modernization: Update and optimize our build and release pipelines by enhancing our tech stack, tools, and processes.
  • Developer Support: Gather feedback from game developers, address pain points, and create solutions to improve workflows.
  • Collaborative Development: Work with a talented team of engineers to enhance our games pipeline.
  • Process Automation: Implement automated distribution and quality assurance processes for efficient game delivery.
  • Best Practices Advocacy: Promote and refine engineering best practices across the team.


Requirements

  • Mobile Build Engineering: Extensive experience in developing, building, and deploying apps on Android and iOS.
  • Pipeline Automation Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or similar tools to build automation pipelines.
  • Development Knowledge: Proficient in software development, application design, and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy).
  • Cloud Integration: Strong knowledge and experience with cloud services (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) to integrate scalable infrastructure.
  • Quality Gates: Previous experience with static analysis, automation checkpoints, test automation, and device farm solutions.
  • Repository & Release Management: Experience managing repositories (GitHub, etc.), mobile signing certificates, CDNs, and deploying to TestFlight and App Center.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and related processes.


Soft Skills

  • Excellent Communication: Clear English communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Autonomous and Proactive: Ability to work independently and deliver in a remote, geographically distributed team.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled at managing ambiguity, debugging, and tackling challenging issues.


Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Unity 3D Experience: Familiarity with Unity game engine.
  • Project Management Tools: Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, or similar for task tracking and documentation.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
