Senior Dotnet Developer

Do you have 5+ years of experience as a .Net developer? We are looking for an EU national to join our team in Brussels.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a .Net developer
• Proven experience with .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core (5/6/8), and .NET Framework 4.8.
• Experience in leading software development teams and coaching peers.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development practices and associated tools.
• Ability to produce clean, testable, and maintainable code with attention to performance and security.
• Familiarity with legislation and digitalization in the agriculture sector is a plus.
• Frontend: Angular 2+, TypeScript, NgRx, Wireframes (ForeUI)
• Backend: C#, ASP.NET Core, NHibernate, Entity Framework, Dapper, MassTransit, RabbitMQ, Serilog, FluentValidation
• APIs & Integration: REST, GraphQL, WCF
• Tools: Visual Studio 2019/2022, Azure DevOps Server, SonarQube, Application Insights, IIS
• Databases: MS SQL Server 2016
• Reporting & GIS: MS SharePoint 2019, ArcGIS Server, QGIS
• Methodologies: SCRUM, XP, UML (Astah)
• Language(s): English(fluent), Dutch(fluent)

Job Description:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex .NET applications.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and coordinate development activities.
• Translate functional requirements into robust software solutions using Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Collaborate with architects and analysts to align with VLM’s business and system architecture.
• Ensure high-quality code, facilitate knowledge transfer, and contribute to system documentation.
• Provide technical insights during feedback sessions, especially in areas of expertise.
