Job Title: Data Scientist – Gen AI

Location: Brussels (BeCentral) – Hybrid (2 days/week on-site)

Contract Type: Employee or subcontractor employee (no freelancers)

Language Requirements: Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus

🎯 Your Role

As a Data Scientist – Gen AI, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of AI use cases, from understanding business challenges to deploying solutions into production environments. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Develop AI applications using Gen AI technologies
• Translate complex business needs into AI-based solutions
• Collaborate with business experts, IT teams, and fellow data scientists
• Deploy scalable prototypes into production environments
• Present your work clearly to multi-functional teams and stakeholders

🧠 Your Profile

Education & Experience:

• PhD or Master’s in AI, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or similar
• 3–5 years of experience in a business setting

Technical Skills:

• Strong coding skills in Python
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
• Proficient with Microsoft Azure and Azure AI Services
• Hands-on experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph
• Solid understanding of AI and statistical methods
• End-to-end experience with AI project lifecycle (from scoping to deployment)

Soft Skills:

• Passionate about continuous learning and AI innovation
• Autonomous and proactive in project management
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Telecom industry experience is a plus
