Dutch Coding Company is a fast-growing digital studio located in Strijp-S, the creative hub of Brainport Eindhoven, this organization specializes in developing high-quality digital products—such as web platforms and mobile applications—that support business growth and enhance customer engagement. Clients include startups, corporates, and (semi-)government entities, primarily in the Health & Sports, Energy Transition, and Industrial sectors.

With a core tech stack of Flutter, Laravel, and VueJS, the team is also passionate about exploring new technologies. Job Description

This traineeship offers a dynamic mix of internal and client-facing projects, all aimed at driving business growth. Internal initiatives provide the freedom to explore and experiment with various technologies, while external projects emphasize clean, secure, and maintainable code. The structure of the traineeship is flexible and will be tailored in collaboration with the trainee to align with individual goals and interests.

The role includes hands-on experience with code reviews—both receiving and providing feedback—as well as direct collaboration with clients to advise on technical solutions that align with user needs and business objectives. Trainees are encouraged to contribute ideas for improving services and growing the company. Beyond day-to-day work, the team enjoys a vibrant culture with activities like international city trips, hackathons, meetups, board game nights, and the occasional late-night outing downtown.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of new projects and maintenance of existing projects using PHP Laravel.
• Work with related technologies, including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), API interfaces, Linux, CI/CD pipelines.
• Write high-quality code, fully tested in automated test suites and in compliance with code style guidelines.
• You're incredibly ambitious, eager to learn, and enjoy working on your professional and personal development. We like working with former entrepreneurs, people with an active student life, and elite athletes.
• It is also possible to combine your traineeship with front-end (e.g. VueJS), mobile app development (e.g. Google Flutter) or DevOps (e.g. docker, linux).

Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
