Duties And Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend APIs and orchestration logic for distributed systems
- Work with event-driven messaging systems (e.g., MQTT, Kafka, NATS) for cloud-edge communication
- Build and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure, including custom automation where needed
- Contribute to secure, high-performance deployment pipelines and service lifecycles
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and fellow engineers in an agile environment
- Strong experience in backend development with Go (or similar languages like Python, .NET, or Java)
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native architecture
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and distributed event-driven architectures is advantageous
- Bonus: Familiarity with custom Kubernetes Operators or distributed system design
- Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a pragmatic approach to solving complex engineering challenges
- Attention to detail, with a drive to deliver while maintaining an overall perspective
- Ability to balance high-quality standards with fast execution
- Self-starter, continuous learner, and effective networker
- Agile mindset and enjoyment of working in a start-up environment
- Fluent English communication skills; German is a plus but not required
