Job Title: .NET Developer

Location: Remote Working with Very Occasional Travel to Dusseldorf

Contract Type: 6 months + chance of extensions

Language: German & English Speaking

Context:

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in .NET Framework (WPF) and .NET Core / Angular for the development and enhancement of both desktop and web applications. The role involves adapting legacy applications to new coding standards, implementing new features, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and maintainable code across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cover the full software development lifecycle including:
• Requirements engineering
• Software design and development
• Testing and quality assurance
• Deployment and maintenance
• Adapt and enhance existing desktop and web applications to align with new coding and security standards
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements
• Apply clean coding practices and principles of test-driven development (TDD)
• Ensure compliance with H security and coding standards

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in .NET Framework desktop application development (WPF)
• Proficiency in .NET Core and Angular-based web applications
• Solid understanding of secure development practices
• Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Strong skills in SQL and relational database management (Oracle is a plus)
