A leading global pharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Cyber Security Internal Auditor to join its European audit team. This role is a key part of the Internal Audit function, responsible for ensuring compliance with stringent German regulatory standards and maintaining the security and integrity of critical IT infrastructure across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct risk-based cyber security audits across multiple sites, working closely with local IT teams.
Assess network security, identify vulnerabilities, and provide technical guidance to mitigate risks.
Evaluate IT controls, security frameworks, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build relationships and communicate audit findings in a constructive and solution-oriented manner.
Conduct technical reviews of networks and security architecture.
Work in a highly autonomous environment, developing creative and adaptable audit approaches.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in cyber security auditing.
Strong technical expertise, with the ability to engage with IT professionals on security topics.
Fluent German at C1 level preferred; candidates with intermediate Germany willing to undertake intensive language training within six months will also be considered.
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, particularly in acquired entities where audit exposure may be limited.
Flexible approach with a service-oriented mindset, balancing regulatory compliance with practical business needs.
