Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated .NET Software Developer to join our dynamic software engineering team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-level applications that have real-world impact. The ideal candidate will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design through to deployment and support, in a collaborative and hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using the .NET Framework.
• Build robust backend services and APIs to support complex business operations.
• Develop front-end components using ASP.NET MVC, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate third-party services through RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Write and optimize SQL queries using SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Follow best practices in object-oriented programming and clean architecture.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Support deployment processes and contribute to CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, implementation, and support.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3+ years' professional experience developing with .NET or C#.
• Strong proficiency in web development with ASP.NET MVC and front-end technologies.
• Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and test-driven development.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Desirable Experience

• Background working in enterprise, public sector, or regulated industries such as fintech or insurance.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and large-scale application deployments.
