What You Will Do
You don’t need to know it all - we’re here to help you learn. Your tasks might include:
- Assisting with Python scripts to help automate routine tasks and make processes more efficient;
- Supporting the team with data collection, cleaning, and basic exploration.
- Helping to prepare simple dashboards and reports;
- Learning how to gather useful data from websites using web scraping tools;
- Assisting with creating and documenting database queries (SQL) and helping automate reports;
- Exploring how APIs work and helping to connect different tools or systems;
- Teaming up with others to help deploy projects in cloud environments like AWS or Google Cloud;
- Learning about cost-saving methods in cloud and data operations;
- Doing research and helping document best practices in data and automation;
- Participating in team discussions and sharing your ideas -every perspective matters!
We’re not expecting you to be an expert - just bring your curiosity and motivation to learn! Ideally, you have:
- A basic understanding of Python and an interest in developing your skills further;
- Some knowledge of statistics and data analysis;
- A beginner's understanding of SQL and how databases work;
- Curiosity about web scraping (tools like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium are a plus);
- Interest in learning how APIs work and how to use them;
- Enthusiasm for exploring cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud);
- Good problem-solving and analytical thinking;
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to ask questions and learn from your teammates;
- Motivation to grow and try new technologies.
