We are looking for a Senior Laravel/PHP Backend Developer with 7+ years of experience to join our team in a hybrid role based in Albarraque, Sintra. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills using Laravel, solid knowledge of PHP, and experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

We are looking for a Senior Laravel/PHP Backend Developer with 7+ years of experience to join our team in a hybrid role based in Albarraque, Sintra. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills using Laravel, solid knowledge of PHP, and experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend solutions and new features for a major tobacco company.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to understand requirements and define technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain application features using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- L1: Software Engineering
- L2: Application Software
- Grade: C1
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with PHP development.
- Proven expertise in the Laravel framework.
- Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript.
- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience building Single Page Applications (SPA).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices.
- Proficient in version control systems, especially Git.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Experience with performance optimization.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards and implementation.
- English – Proficient (C1 level)
