About the Role

Empiric are hiring for a DevOps Engineer to support a major consultancy renown for their cloud services.

This role is perfect for a technical leader who enjoys shaping DevOps strategies, designing robust CI/CD pipelines, and driving cloud-native transformation at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure DevOps solutions that support enterprise-scale applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance
• Implement DevOps tools and automation workflows to support continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to automate code builds, testing, and deployments
• Provision and configure cloud infrastructure using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform to support application and service needs
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using platforms like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Docker
• Enforce security, compliance, and governance controls across all DevOps activities, including secrets management and policy enforcement
• Collaborate with developers, cloud architects, and security engineers to ensure smooth code releases and infrastructure updates
• Monitor systems and pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to maintain operational excellence
• Stay up to date with Azure services, DevOps practices, and automation tools to recommend and implement enhancements

Qualifications

• Certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-305, and AZ-500
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps with 3+ years focused on Microsoft Azure
• Proven expertise in CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.), IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM), and scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and cloud governance frameworks
• Fluent in Dutch and English—both written and spoken
