We are currently on the look out for a Junior Platform engineer at Outpost 24, you will work as part of a global, autonomous team ensuring continuous delivery of our market leading platform, with a continuous improvement mindset. You will play an integral part of the GPO team, managing the 24×7 offering of authentication solutions in the cloud. You will work with a team of developers, quality assurance testers, product services, support, and, of course Platform engineers.

You will play an integral part of the GPO team, managing the 24×7 offering of authentication solutions in the cloud. You will work with a team of developers, quality assurance testers, product services, support, and, of course Platform engineers.
As a Platform Engineer within the Global Platform Operations team your responsibilities will be:
- Deploy, support, and manage new releases
- Automate and improve the Specops continuous delivery process
- Research and implement new tools and technologies
- Ensure up-time and service reliability
- Maintain security best practices
- Monitor and improve performance
- 1+ years working as a software developer in a CI/CD and DevOps environment
- Experience working with business critical systems
- Real-life Azure and/or AWS experience
- Designing and automating workflows and processes
Required
- Strong scripting skills, preferably using PowerShell
- Continuous delivery - Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy or similar.
- Server/application monitoring/logging
- Databases in general, and Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
- Verbal and written technical communication skills in English
- Experience writing code - C# .NET
- Windows server/Active directory management
- Linux administration
- Container technologies (docker etc.)
- Networking
- Virtualization
