Through valuable insights gained from understanding how people use smart homes, we've developed a simple, intuitive digital experience that makes homes smarter and more accessible for as many people as possible.
At Range Area Range Interaction- IKEA Home smart you will join an amazing group of talented, passionate people with an entrepreneurial mindset who are set on democratizing the smart home. We develop smart products to enable a smarter life at home for people all over the world. We are curious and passionate about creating solutions that solve real-life problems and help people realize their dreams.
All on their terms. Because we believe everyone deserves a smart home. To succeed, we look for new ways of integrating technology and digital solutions into home furniture solution and life at home. We explore opportunities throughout the home and we work closely together with The Range Areas to both drive transformation of the existing range and develop new smart products to attract new customers to IKEA.
Qualifications
About You
As a Digital Product Area Manager, for Range Interaction, You are responsible for the digital part of the smart home working closely with the range areas and the physical product offer.

Qualifications
About You
As a Digital Product Area Manager, for Range Interaction, You are responsible for the digital part of the smart home working closely with the range areas and the physical product offer.
To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable:
- Solid experience as a Product Manager in developing digital products and you have a proven track record of successful digital solutions, particularly in the area of smart home technologies.
- You are a leader who effectively guides, mentors, motivates, and empowers digital product teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Knowledgeable in agile principles and ways of working with eg UX, digital product strategy, digital product visions and data driven decision making
- Strong ability to communicate and act as a communication bridge between diverse business and digital competences.
- Strong capability to visualize concepts and ideas to build understanding and agreement on the way forward.
- Extensive knowledge in how to create high performing autonomous teams that are aligned towards a clear digital product vision, and working with relevant disciplines such as discovery, UX, and data informed decision making.
- Ability to build strong relations with peers and stakeholders, comfortable with complex prioritization and situations, and cross functional leadership.
- Ability to, in an excellent way, communicate, facilitate, listen actively, build networks, and inspire others
- Good knowledge about the IKEA strategies, processes and the digital landscape
