User Experience Designer

We are sourcing on behalf of a fast-growing fintech startup headquartered in Dubai that is transforming the way individuals and businesses manage payments, investments, and financial planning. With a strong focus on usability and customer-first design, the company is looking for a talented and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join its product team and help shape the next generation of digital financial tools.

On-site – Dubai, UAE (Hybrid flexibility may be available)

As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in crafting intuitive, engaging, and user-centered interfaces across web and mobile platforms. You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to understand user needs, prototype solutions, and bring polished experiences to life. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about fintech, design systems, and simplifying complex workflows.

• Design wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement user-centered design solutions.
• Create and maintain a consistent design system and UI components across the platform.
• Translate complex fintech concepts into intuitive, human-centered interfaces.
• Ensure designs align with the brand’s visual language and accessibility standards.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in fintech, UI/UX, and responsive design.
• Help define and refine user personas and journey maps.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in a startup or fintech environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects across mobile and desktop platforms.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience designing financial or data-heavy applications (e.g., banking, trading, personal finance).
• Familiarity with front-end development concepts or basic HTML/CSS.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG).
