Data Scientist – Mid to Senior Level

At Konnexus, we are working with a leading organisation in the digital entertainment space to help them find their next Mid–Senior Level Data Scientist. This team has a reputation for setting global trends and delivering data-led products to millions of users.

This is not your typical data science role, here you will be working on high stakes modelling challenges that directly shape products & business decisions.

What you will be doing in this role: -

• Build, test, and deploy robust models
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Communicate findings and model insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ensure production-grade quality by following MLOps and software engineering best practices.
• Apply strong commercial thinking to everything you do - understanding the “why” as much as the “how.”

Key skills you will require for this role

• Hands-on experience in end-to-end delivery of data science projects (bonus if you’ve worked with R, Python, SQL, AWS, Databricks - C# is a nice-to-have).
• Strong grasp of statistical and machine learning methods, and the ability to pick the right approach for the job.
• Detail-oriented and rigorous - you think through edge cases, test your assumptions, and value clean, clear code.
• Passion for modelling systems that involve uncertainty, risk, and human behaviour.
• Resilient and flexible - you’re comfortable shifting gears and priorities when needed.

Our client will consider candidates for a data science role, but also working in quantitative analysis and analytics modelling.
