Project Manager

For a client of mine in North-Rhine Westphalia, I am currently recruiting for freelance Project Managers for long-term projects in the heavy industry.

Both junior and senior candidates are encouraged to apply, as there could be multiple positions open with different scopes of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Working in collaboration with engineering companies
• Involved in project from early phases through to execution and handover
• Working together with procurement in supply chain activities

Qualifications

• Technical background preferred, such as mechanical engineering
• Experience in heavy machinery, material handling, etc. is beneficial
• Good command of the English language and at least a beginner's level of German (more advanced would be a strong bonus)
• Must be able to work as a freelancer in the EU (visa sponsorship is not available for this position)

Logistics:

• 40 hours per week
• Presence in the client's office is mandatory 100% for the first few months, and there could be flexibility to 2 days per week working from home from around January onwards
