Product Manager

Your Tasks

• Define product strategy in alignment with business development goals 
• Take ownership of product success and oversee the entire product life cycle 
• Develop product business cases and roadmaps 
• Define technical product specifications 
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis 
• Own and manage product development projects 
• Maintain direct contact with lead customers 
• Serve as the single point of contact for assigned product families regarding internal communication 

Your Profile

• Engineering degree (e.g. aerospace engineering, computer science, electrical engineering etc.) 
• Sound knowledge of embedded systems development and communication protocols 
• Experience in product management and/or development in the space business 
• Commercial proficiency and business acumen 
• Knowledge of data busses (e.g. Ethernet, CAN, etc.), distributed real-time systems, space flight software, electronic components, and avionics is beneficial 
• Familiar with assurance processes (e.g. ECSS, NASA standards, RTCA DO-178C, DO-254) is a plus 
• Willingness to travel (up to 30%) 
• Excellent English skills

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 56,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
