Junior Accountant

For our client we are currently looking for Junior Accounting specialist with fluent German language skills to join them in Riga, Latvia!

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for independently handling financial transactions, supporting accounts receivable/payable and fixed asset accounting, maintaining process documentation and internal controls, and contributing to the optimization and automation of financial processes.

Main requirements:

• Successfully graduated or currently in the final year of studies in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• At least 1–2 years of work experience as a Junior Accountant in an international company
• Hands-on experience with SAP accounting transactions
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Fluent in English and German is required for communication across our international locations
• Experience in successfully collaborating within international and virtual team environments

Responsibilities:

• Independent processing of business transactions in area of Finance & Accounting
• Support in Accounts Receivable / Payable management
• Support in Fixed Asset accounting
• Support with various daily tasks in accounting area
• Preparation and review of process documentation
• Independent review and documentation of internal controls in the finance area
• Collaboration in the optimization and automation of commercial finance processes
