Requirements


  • 10+ years of professional iOS development experience, including senior-level roles
  • Fluent in Dutch (working level) to effectively collaborate with local stakeholders
  • Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features
  • Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and user experience
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
  • Maintain high code quality, structure, and automation
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship
  • Drive continuous improvement in development practices and tooling
  • Lead integration efforts with external systems and support smooth crew domain alignment
  • Expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and SwiftData
  • Strong experience in architecting complex, greenfield iOS applications
  • Proven track record of managing migration projects from legacy systems
  • Solid understanding of Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, Core Text
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs, networking, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and system integration
  • Familiarity with Apple’s design principles and Human Interface Guidelines
  • Proficient with Git/GitHub and software architecture best practices
  • Up-to-date with the latest iOS/Swift features and libraries
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
  • Understanding of canary releases and app rollout strategies
  • Experience distributing apps via the App Store
  • Familiarity with reactive programming (e.g., Combine or RxSwift)
  • Background in developing apps with complex UI/UX requirements
  • Strong experience with automated testing and unit testing
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies
