Unity Developer (Games Division)

We are looking for an experienced Unity Developer to join an innovative and fast-moving team within Papaya in Warsaw, Poland.

This team operates like a startup under Yoni, one of Papaya’s founders, and is responsible for creating and launching new games from scratch. The unit focuses on rapid prototyping, developing fresh game concepts, and testing their market potential. Games that succeed will become part of Papaya’s growing portfolio, forming new studios, while those that don’t will be shelved to make way for the next big idea.

As a Unity Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and optimizing gameplay mechanics, ensuring high performance and smooth user experiences. You will collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other developers to bring innovative ideas to life.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, high-quality code.
• Optimizing the game for the best performance on all supported devices.
• Design, implement and innovate features with cutting-edge technologies.
• Developing a game played by millions of players worldwide.
• Make sure the games maintain excellent performance and a great user experience.

Requirements:

• Living in Poland (not a remote position)
• 3-5 years of experience working as a Unity Developer.
• Experience in iOS and Android in Unity development and deployment.
• Passion for games.
• B.Sc in computer science or equivalent.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• A team player who enjoys working with others.
• Familiar with await and async tasks (advantage).
