Chief Technology Officer [SaaS]

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a strategic executive team member responsible for driving the company’s technology strategy, ensuring the alignment of technical initiatives with business objectives, and enhancing operational efficiencies.

This position will partner to develop and implement a roadmap that aligns with the company’s vision, identifying emerging trends and technologies to accelerate digital transformation within its suite of product offerings.

The ideal candidate is a team-focused, collaborative leader with an innovative, customer-centric approach to technology. The CTO will serve as a trusted thought partner, engaging with both internal stakeholders and external customers to deliver a world-class product stack that enhances user experience, drives market leadership, and fuels business growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business leaders to translate strategic goals into scalable, high-impact technical solutions that enhance efficiency, drive revenue, and elevate customer satisfaction.
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture rooted in accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Lead the development of strategic technology roadmaps and set clear timelines for evaluating, building, and deploying technical solutions.
• Streamline and optimize the software development lifecycle with a focus on speed, quality, and measurable outcomes.
• Translate complex technical ideas into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
• Inspire and lead with empathy, vision, and influence—motivating teams to innovate and excel.
• Architect and evolve the technology platform to ensure it remains flexible, scalable, and high-performing, maximising return on investment.
• Introduce and scale agile practices, automation, and process improvements to boost productivity and quality.
• Manage technology budgets and operational costs with an eye on strategic alignment and efficiency.
• Champion engineering best practices and foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Work in close alignment with IT, DevOps, Security, and Compliance leaders to ensure robust, secure, and compliant systems.
• Leverage AI capabilities to develop and execute forward-thinking strategies that drive innovation and business value

Education & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, technology leadership, or related domains.
• 4+ years of proven leadership experience, including mentoring and empowering diverse, high-performing teams.
• Analytical and results-driven, with excellent time management and a data-informed approach.
• Skilled in engaging enterprise clients and managing conflict to achieve positive stakeholder outcomes.
• Experienced in leading cross-functional, complex initiatives involving people, process, and technology.
• Proven success managing remote engineering teams in fast-paced, product-led environments.
• Demonstrated ability to scale teams and nurture talent within high-growth organisations.
• Deep expertise in talent acquisition, development, and retention of top technical professionals.
• Prior experience in the Cybersecurity, Automotive, Web3, and Recruitment sectors is highly desirable.
• Thrives in dynamic, high-pressure settings while effectively juggling competing priorities.
• Exceptionally organised with a strong focus on execution and detail.
• Outstanding communicator, adept at translating complex technical ideas into clear, business-aligned insights.
