Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.x and a strong background in the banking and financial services industry. The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of experience, preferably with exposure to large-scale enterprise applications in Singapore.

This opportunity is a 1-year renewable contract with a well-known banking consulting firm, supporting an international bank on mission-critical systems and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications and integration solutions using TIBCO BW 5.x.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and QA teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high availability and performance of banking systems.
• Develop and maintain integration workflows, adapters, and custom Java services.
• Follow best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills/ Experience:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Proven experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.x
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Prior experience working in the banking domain—especially on payments, trading, or core banking platforms.
• Familiarity with tools such as SVN/Git, Jenkins, and JIRA.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Candidates have to be already working in Singapore
