DevOps Engineer

Role:

• As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in automating and optimizing the infrastructure.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, contributing directly to the health and capacity of our internet-facing services.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Python, and CloudFormation, emphasizing expertise as an Infrastructure Automation Specialist and Cloud Orchestration.
• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and capacity of internet-facing services.
• Develop dashboards and tools to enhance day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting for the DevOps team, incorporating monitoring automation and visualization tools to streamline processes.
• Troubleshoot advanced issues to ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and expand infrastructure with scalability and operability in mind.
• Assist with the deployment of new product features and system rollouts.
• Drive standardization and improvements in automation processes.

Required Skills:

• Experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet. Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, ELB, Auto Scaling, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Familiarity with tools like Nagios, Grafana, and CloudWatch for performance monitoring.
