Salary Range - 55,000 to 85,000 Per year
Position Summary & Objective The Staff Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that an organization's IT systems meet its business needs effectively and efficiently.
Essential Functions Performed by the Position
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document their needs and business processes.
• Develop detailed system specifications and design documents based on gathered requirements.
• Assess the feasibility of proposed solutions and design alternatives.
• Lead and manage system analysis projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Allocate resources effectively and manage project timelines, risks, and changes.
• Work with various teams, including IT, business units, and vendors, to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee the configuration and customization of systems based on design specifications.
• Conduct system testing to ensure functionality and performance meet requirements before deployment.
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and training materials.
• Prepare reports for management on project status, system performance, and recommendations for improvements.
• Act as a liaison between IT and business units to ensure clear communication and understanding of system requirements.
• Provide training and support to end-users, addressing any issues or concerns related to system usage.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
Position Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis or a related field.
Certifications/Licenses:
• None
Language Proficiency:
• Fluent in English.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to analyze complex systems and processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, software development, and system analysis tools.
• Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and preparing documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address system issues and implement effective solutions.
Working Hours and Conditions
• Office and Remote Work Environment. Physical Characteristics and Demands This role is sedentary in nature, you must be able to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods of time.
