🌱 Data Scientist – Climate Tech | Python | London Hybrid | £Competitive + Equity
I’m working with a climate tech startup that’s reshaping how the energy grid works. They’re looking for data scientists who either have experience with energy systems or a strong interest in the sector.
This isn’t research or theory – their software controls tens of thousands of energy assets like EVs, heat pumps, and batteries, shifting usage to times when electricity is clean and cheap. They’re backed by top investors and growing quickly.
Why you’ll want to join:
- Take real ownership – your code and models go live and make an impact
- Work on interesting problems like time-series forecasting, optimisation, and energy systems
- Help reduce emissions in a meaningful way
- Join a small, hands-on team where everyone pitches in
- Hybrid role in London (2-3 days a week in the office)
- Tech stack: Python, Streamlit, Docker, GCP, Figma
What they’re looking for:
- Strong Python skills and experience writing production code
- Comfortable working with time-series data and ideally energy-related data
- Either experience in energy or a keen interest to learn about the sector
- Curious, driven, and willing to learn quickly
- Bonus if you’ve worked in power trading or have client-facing experience
If you want to build things that make a real difference to climate and energy, apply now!
