DevOps Engineer

Contract Details

BLACKROC is partnering with a forward-thinking digital transformation program to recruit a Senior Cloud AWS Engineer for an exciting contract role. This position is critical in helping shape and deliver secure, scalable cloud infrastructure within a high-performing technology team.

Role Purpose

As a Senior Cloud AWS Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise AWS Cloud and DevOps solutions. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact cloud projects, collaborating with DevOps engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud-native and container-based environments
• Lead technical architecture discussions and cloud onboarding for new customers
• Drive secure DevOps practices across CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor a high-performing team of engineers and support digital transformation goals
• Develop proof of concepts, cost models, and support ongoing product improvements

Required Skills and Experience

• Advanced knowledge of AWS Cloud and DevOps technologies
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK & TypeScript)
• Strong background in secure CI/CD delivery pipelines and DevOps tooling
• Experience with AWS EKS, ECS, Lambda, Fargate, CloudTrail, and GitHub Actions
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and leading technical teams
