Data Analyst

A federal government agency responsible for the development and management of a range of legislative and regulatory policies that supports many Australians.

You will be responsible for the technical analysis activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that support and contribute to the organisation's objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

As a Data Analyst, you will need experience in providing high-level technical advice on analyses to support policy priorities. This involves research, statistical analysis and modelling to understand data collected from providers and other sources to develop evidence-based pricing advice based on the cost of services.

What you will bring

• Extracting and producing a range of data, statistics and reports using Statistical Analysis System (SAS),
• Dashboard creation and management utilising Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI etc.,
• ETL and data warehouse experience,
• Automation and machine learning experience.
• Developing pricing insights in Health, Aged care or Hospitals etc is an advantage.
